Dear UCA Family,
This has not been just another Spring Break at UCA. Our UCA family is grieving. We have lost a family member and right now, it really hurts! We met as a school family today during lunch to simply pray together. I shared with our students that we may never know the reason why before we get to heaven. We simply place our trust in Christ alone. The next days and weeks will not be easy here at UCA. Please continue to remember the Lacey family as well as our greater UCA family in your prayers. God will see us through if we keep our eyes fixed steadfastly on Him.
Our next prayer time will be on Monday, April 9, and we will be praying for Bryce & Jill Reading, Fred & Paula Riffel, and UCA parents. Thank you for joining us when you can!
As we transition the registrar’s duties to Julie Hagele, many questions are bound to arise. Please email your questions to Registrar@ucaa.org and we will make every effort to help you in a timely manner. As this is a planning time in our year, please be assured that we are reviewing all students’ academic progress. This process will be prioritized as follows:
- Seniors, to confirm they are on track for graduation.
- Juniors, to schedule classes for next school year with a plan for graduation (complete by mid-May).
- Sophomores, to schedule classes for next year, planning for the coming years (complete by late May).
- Freshmen, to schedule classes for next year (complete by end of May).
Thank you for your prayers and patience as we are feverishly working to keep everything running smoothly.
Academy Days are fast approaching this Thursday and Friday, April 5 and 6. This time is for any student to experience life at UCA, whether they are currently attending an Adventist school, public school, home school, or another Christian/private school. Students will arrive and settle in at the dorms at 10:30 a.m., and be in the gym by 11:30 for opening ceremonies. Students will get a taste of the various teachers and classes, worship and study hall in the dorm, and will be able to participate in a knowledge bowl (if desired). If you know of a student who would like to be at UCA next year, please invite them to call. There is still time!
